The Engineering Department is responsible for providing technical services for city departments, including contract administration for large scale street, drainage and building construction projects within the City of Brownsville.  The department maintains all streets and drainage infrastructure records along with the city addresses. We also oversee in house design project, construction inspection, addressing and mange City ROW and easements. 

Our department Goals is to deliver project on time, within budget and keeping obstructions to a minimum.  We establish project priorities, schedule, and respond to customer concern effectively and in a timely manner.
